What is Club Femme?

Best friends instantly through in-person conversations which are facilitated and inspirational. You will leave feeling sparkly, motivated and connected. As if that time you had the best conversation of your life in the woman's restroom became the whole night. It's a beautiful atmosphere of sharing and caring, through audacious bold feminine energy; like a Ted Talk meets a slumber party. These conversations will make your heart sing and have you vibrating so high all the way home. Topics like overcoming shyness, mindset shifts, relationships, fashion, nutrition, wellness, and so much more.

Why 'Femme'?

It’s both a celebration and a refiguring of femininity. This is for anyone who would like to celebrate their feminine energy.

Here's a definition for you. Femme: A term referring to the broad, dynamic representations of femininity/feminine characteristics regardless of gender. Femmes claim a relationship to femininity without, necessarily, claiming a relationship to womanhood.

“I see femme as the rebellious teenage daughter of femininity,” distinguishes Chung. “Femme is the process of taking the feminine words that were placed in my body, words like ‘soft, weak, quiet’ and transforming them into: ‘wild, loud, confident’… When I broke up with femininity and embraced femme, I felt strong and confident and powerful…” (Chung, 2016).

Are you a queer-only space?

Although the term 'femme' is a common term within the LGBTQIA2S+ community, it is being used here to describe energy and not relating specifically to gender/sexuality. ALL ARE WELCOME! The atmosphere is femme so come revel in that yet you can be any of the following and more: AFAB (Assigned Female at Birth), Ally, AMAB (Assigned Male at Birth), Agender, Androgynous, Aromantic, Asexual, Bigender, Biromantic, Bisexual, Cisgender, Coming Out, Crossdresser, Demisexual, Drag, FTM, Gay, Genderfluid, Genderflux, Gender Nonconforming (GNC), Genderqueer, Heterosexual, Homosexual, Intersex, Lesbian, Masc, MSM, MTF, Non-binary, Omnigender, Pangender, Pansexual, Polyamorous, Queer, Questioning, Same-Gender Loving (SGL), Third Gender, Transgender, Two-Spirit, WSW, and more! You'll often hear me saying, "I am what I am, when I am it!" and you're welcome to try that one on for size too. ;)

What's the difference between a Connection Kickoff and an Upcoming Connect?

A Connection Kickoff is a great place to start if you are new to Club Femme and want to experience the vibe in a room full of people who are also new. This session will refresh your heart over cocktails just like other Connects do and we cover Club Femme FAQs+Basics as well. You are welcome to come to as many Connection Kickoffs as you'd like, yet the conversation will be the same set content every time.

Been here before? Connects are inspirational conversations led over cocktails that vary in topics. Here is where you will grow your community with recurring faces, and find new depths to who you are. Topics range wildly yet are always just what you needed to hear at exactly the moment you needed to hear it. Grab a cocktail and Connect.

What if I'm Masculine or Non-Binary? Can I still come?

YES! You do you boo. Just know that we are Femme AF. Look, even if you are 95% masculine, where do you go to celebrate that other 5% of you? Shout out to all my secret scented candle loving, little spoon cravers. I know you wish you could dust off that part of your heart and let it out. We've got you. We love you. Join the club.
